Theme: Qualification Methodologies for AM Applications

AM CoE Snapshot Workshops are intended to provide an overview of the status of the technology in its phases of advancement. This one-day workshop, held at the Institute for Aerospace Industry, Incheon, Republic of Korea on Sept 18, hosted by 3D Fusion Industry Association (3DFIA) , will provide a comprehensive snapshot of the advancements in qualification methodologies adopted by different industry sectors in progressing industrialization of additive manufacturing. The workshop is open to all interested in knowing the practices in qualifying AM processes and products from industry leaders. The workshop provides a platform for AM professionals to gain valuable insights from the experts and an opportunity to collaborate.

The 10th Snapshot Workshop covers the standardization needs in facilitating faster qualification process while incorporating recent developments. AM CoE’s research programs and other initiatives with its partners in filling the standardization gaps will be another focus of the discussion.

Who Should Attend

This workshop is open to all AM professionals, including industry (aerospace, medical, automotive, energy, and defense), academia, and government agency representatives who want to learn about the latest AM standardized practices and the research and development initiatives in AM qualification.

Why You Should Attend

The speakers in this workshop are experts from industry sectors who lead the research and innovation in additive manufacturing. This gives a unique opportunity for the participants to understand more about the best standardized practices and participate in the interactive presentations and panel discussions. Each session is designed with a focus on industry needs and the role that standards can play in driving AM application.

Earn a Verification of Completion Certificate

This Snapshot Workshop is the 10th offering from the AM CoE Education & Workforce Development (E&WD) Program, which provides training opportunities for various levels of the AM workforce. Each workshop participant will receive a digital Verification of Completion Certificate from ASTM AM CoE. Workshop attendees interested in receiving .55 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) should complete a CEU application form. A certificate will be sent to the attendee approximately 4 to 6 weeks after the application form is received.

Registration Fees
